Biography

Mr. Sukumar’s entrepreneurial journey began humbly as an Admin Clerk in the property management sector. His exceptional performance quickly earned him promotions, eventually leading to the role of Senior Operations Manager. His dedication and hard work culminated in obtaining his license as a certified Property Manager (PM:0707) from the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents & Property Managers (BOVEAP) along with associate membership in the Malaysian Institute of Property & Facility Management (MIPFM), under membership number M1242. With these credentials, Mr. Sukumar established his own firm, successfully hiring staff and securing numerous management and maintenance contracts across Klang Valley, Negeri Sembilan, and Melaka within three years of tireless effort.

With a solid understanding of legal frameworks such as The Strata Management Act 2013 (Act 757), Strata Management (Maintenance and Management) Regulations 2015, P.U.(A) 107, and the Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents, and Property Managers Act 1981 (Act 242), Mr. Sukumar is committed to elevating his company to international standards. He prioritizes professional training for all staff levels, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align all personnel with common goals.

Mr. Sukumar’s vision is encapsulated in the slogan “Magnificent Property Management” with a mission for his staff and company to “Work Together and Grow Together.” Under his leadership, Ocean Stars Property Management Sdn Bhd is dedicated to serving Malaysia's property management industry with the motto “Aspire Today for Inspire Tomorrow” always ready to assist any industry-related communities, including JMB, MC, or Developers.
